The Miracle Called Life, A Rational Argument for the Existence of the Human Soul, Why I Am Not An Atheist…

This week at our Facebook page, we are discussing how our spirituality and our spiritual practices are done in partnership with other living creatures on Earth.  We want to explore the questions of:1.  How should our ethics  and morals reflect our relationship to other creatures?

2.  Do some animals have a spiritual life of their own?

3.  How should we respond to the spirituality of other living things?

If we were only animals we could be happy following the herd and questioning not all the unexplained, which science will never be able to answer. But alas i am a free thinking hopefully self-actualizing Human-being, that can and has recognized many of the Values and meaning of events as well as experiences in my life, thus opening me to more-than ponder life and it’s causes and root,… but to be aware of the Evidence in the many Experiences, that-there-is a Profound Higher Force involved in my life. Atheist? No, can’t go there,..not as an intelligent being.

Thanks SBNR for being here. If you study statistics(even in the last 2-3 years), there seems to be an excellerated departure from organized religion around the world. Scientific discoveries are growing exponentially, it seems, by the day. The internet and instant information and communications are fueling the failure of religions.I believe that is the natural evolution of humankind and that all of us are begining to see that there is a ‘viel’ that is being lifted over our actual purpose here on earth and in the Universe. This is personal to us individually and cannot be taken away from us by feeling guilt in the fact that we don’t believe in one religious dogma or another. Not that many years ago, this kind of thinking would have caused you to have a much shortened lifespan. I know SBNR thinking is growing everyday and I am certain that our numbers are growing in ways we cannot even imagine. Good luck on your journeys and take care of each another. Eric D.
